Last night and went and did something that I haven't done since the 9th grade. I went to Classic Skating, and yes folks I skated! Jackie and I had talked about doing something fun and different and thankfully the Institute provided us with that perfect opportunity. They had rented out Classic Skating from 10pm - 12am and provided pizza for everyone. My friends and I had gotten together earlier that night to do dinner and catch up with everyone at Spencer's house. Our friend Jon was planning on going to the skate night and suggested that we ride together. He needed to pick up a friend from his neighborhood who is not a member, so it was good to meet someone new. We had a blast. I had forgotten how fun it is to roller blade. There is always that one accident that happens where some duffus is goofing off and hurts himself and ruins the fun for others (he fell and badly injured his knee). Other than that everything was fun. Got to people watch, skate, made a new friend (Michelle) and even got to skate the sno-ball with Jon. Oh...and for those of you out there wondering, there were no potentials there. Guess I am too picky!
